On this rainy season, you are lucky to have a day without opening your umbrella, bracing a gloomy weather and stepping on the muddy road. Joey + Charie Bacolod Wedding Highlights

Doing local destination wedding for the first time is very exciting and equally rewarding. Not to mention the pleasure of covering your friend's/colleague's wedding!

Joey and Charie are very accomodating! They showed us around the beautiful sights around the city of smiles, bacolod city; treated us generously over sumptuous meals and delicacies, and they even spared their first night as a newly-wed couple for a two-bottles drinking session!

I really enjoyed covering J+C wedding. Hearing the "malambing accents" of the guests reminds us how friendly the people of bacolod are and how hospitable they are. I remember Joey's parents keep on asking us if we are able to eat, if we are ok. hehe they are constantly checking if we are having a good time.

Even if I am behind the camera, I cannot help but react and laugh with the crowd. Its just awesome to witness how the wedding went considering this is a DIY wedding! Galing Joey ha, pwede ka na maging coordinator

Coming from Dubai, Ritz and JV only have almost 10 days to do final arrangements for their wedding. I can feel the mixed excitement and pressure from Ritz as she is telling me they had to drive from Nueva Ejica to Laguna to all parts of the Metro to do final checks for their BIG day. Joan & Gani were married in Calaruega church, one of the famous and wonderful chapel at Nasugbu, Batangas, the looks of the chapel makes the ceremonial more heartfelt and sacred. Their relatives and guests flashes their best grin with sincerity and total happiness. After the wedding ceremonial, we are all headed to Taal Vista hotel for their reception and to celebrate more of their so called UNION. The newlywed affection was too contagious as it shows with all their photos. Reception was truly awesome with lots of appetizing food...

Nuptial vs Nuptials - which word to use?

As an invitation card printer, I have always encountered brides and grooms getting confused with the proper use of the words "nuptial" and "nuptials". At certain times, I just stop debating with the couple and I just go ahead with the printing of the word as they would want it to appear on their invites. I couldn't emphasize anymore how these words should be used.

To help me make my point, I browsed online for various invitation printers who may be having trouble explaining the difference of these two words. And boy was I so happy to know that one of the wedding planners we truly admire, Clarice Avinante of An Event to Remember had the same sentiments and she has the perfect explanation to the use of these words -

1. of or marriage or the marriage ceremony: the nuptial day; nuptial vows.
